BudBuilt Low Profile Crossmembers are formed of 3/8" thick, laser cut, hot rolled, pickled and oiled steel, and offer almost 2.5" more ground clearance than stock. They utilize the stock Toyota rubber mounts and direct any impact with rocks to your frame, not your transmission. The top surface matches the top surface of the stock crossmember so there are no interference surprises when installing. Flat head metric screws are included that attach the stock rubber transfer case mount or mounts. The stock 12mm head bolts are discarded. Skidplate is formed of 3/16" laser cut, hot rolled, pickled and oiled steel and bolts on with flathead metric screws ( included) for a smooth, snag free bottom. This gives 9/16" of steel under much of your transmission and transfer case for strength and protection. The blue screws provided are for attaching the skidplate as they are metric grade 12.9 for high strength and resistance to rock abrasion. Comes with hi grip 5mm Allen wrench too. Parts are supplied as bare steel with edges and flat surfaces sanded and ready for paint.

They can be made with more transmission and transfer case lift if desired, but not required. No additional cost for drivetrain lift. Just ask about it when you call!

Crossmembers and skidplates are stocked in completed and also un-bent form, so shipment is quick, even for those with drivetrain lift.

Note: All low profile crossmembers must use a low profile drain plug. You can purchase these from your local Toyota dealer. Here are the part numbers you will need:
